    Survey results: Your area
    February / March 2019

Background and how we will use the results

We wanted to understand what issues Aucklanders cared about in their own community, what they love about where they live, use of council facilities and amenities and awareness of their elected representatives.

Results from this survey will be shared with Auckland Council staff working at a local level, such as the Local Communications team. They will use the findings to inform their planning so they can better communicate about the issues that mean the most to individual communities.

    Methodology

    • 11,519 panellists received an invitation
    • 1,930 surveys were completed (a 17% response rate)
    • Survey was open for 17 days (26 February - 15 March 2019)
