Survey results: Life in Auckland
May 2018
Background
Every year we track Aucklanders' satisfaction with life in Auckland and how council is performing. This helps us see how we're doing against set targets and budgets, and what actions we need to take for the next year to improve our services.
We measure this in a number of ways, including independent research carried out by external organisations. We wanted to see whether the views of Aucklanders on the People's Panel are similar to those from the independent research.
How we will use the results
We are using the results from this survey to identify any differences between the views of Aucklanders signed up to the People's Panel and the views of Aucklanders sourced by an independent, external research provider.
Methodology
- 27,068 panellists received an invitation
- 4,324 surveys were completed
- Survey was open for 26 days (16 May - 11 June 2018)
This survey was run on Auckland Council's People's Panel, a quick and easy way for Aucklanders to help shape Auckland by taking part in short surveys.
