    Background

    We wanted to hear from the People's Panel how they find being on the panel, including what they think of the surveys, reporting and communications. We also asked for ideas on how we can make the panel more interesting/relevant to young people, so we can increase the representativeness of the People's Panel to reflect the general Auckland population.

    How we will use the results

    We're using these results to refresh our panel strategy including:

    • Making the panel more appealing to young Aucklanders
    • Changing our reporting style
    • Including more info about how we are using results in survey reports

    • 30,216 panellists received an invitation
    • 3583 surveys were completed
    • Survey was open for 16 days (19 June - 4 July 2018)

    This survey was run on Auckland Council's People's Panel, a quick and easy way for Aucklanders to help shape Auckland by taking part in short surveys.
