  • Survey results: Summertime in Auckland
    September 2018

    Background

Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland is a busy region over summer with lots of events and activity. It’s important for Auckland Council to communicate effectively to Aucklanders over this busy season with all that’s going on around the region.

We wanted to better understand how often and how long Aucklanders are typically are away during summertime, what Aucklanders think are the best things about summer, and at what point they consider ‘the end of summer’ in Auckland, to help plan public communications and community activities over the summer period.

How we will use the results

Results from this survey are currently being used to plan communications and activities over the summer period. For example, service change announcements, events in your local area, and tips for keeping safe over summer. For the latest news and events, check out OurAuckland, or follow Auckland Council on Facebook.
